Five Years After Shuttering, Fashion Brand Mexx Is Returning to Canada

The Dutch fashion retailer Mexx was once a mall staple and we were sad to hear about the shuttering of its Canadian stores in 2015.

Mexx had planned to re-open in Canada in 2018 with a stand-alone store, as we shared in 2018, but ultimately those plans fell through. This time around, Mexx will partner with retail giant Walmart, to be stocked in-store and online as reported by Retail Insider.

You can expect comfy classics and fleece separates for women for the holiday season. A wider range of apparel for women and men will be introduced by the brand in 2021. Best of all, the Mexx Canadian relaunch will feature the affordable pricing we expect from Walmart — a departure from the higher prices that used to exist at Mexx.

We can’t wait to see where this partnership goes and pick up some pieces from the brand’s relaunch.
