If you’re an avid shopper you may have noticed that ads for Black Friday started showing up earlier this month. Black Friday is hardly just a singular day, it seems to go from the week prior to the actual day – all the way up to Christmas. According to RedFlagDeals.com, an impressive 79 per cent of Canadians intend to shop on Black Friday this year, a 22 per cent increase from 2016. Black Friday is on track to be the major shopping event of the year, with 51 per cent of Canadians reporting they expect the best deals of 2017 will be available on Black Friday. Even further, 88 per cent of Canadians think Black Friday deals in the US are better than deals in Canada, a remarkable 55 per cent still intend to shop at home given the current political climate.
With so many Canadians looking to take part in Black Friday shopping, there will be endless options for you and your dollar. Navigating all the deals can be incredibly tricky, it’s hard to know where to shop and where to find the best deals. Yorkdale
Extended shopping hours on Black Friday
Yorkdale will be open starting at 8:00 a.m. on Black Friday and will remain open until 11:00 p.m. Yorkdale’s holiday shopping extended hours will begin on Monday, November 20th.
Parking Concierge and Services
Parking will be easier than ever with Yorkdale’s full suite of parking services that include a parking support line, virtual parking support and valet parking. Yorkdale’s Parking Concierges will be available to support shoppers as they enter the property and direct them to parking areas with the greatest availability.
CONCEPT #FOODCRUSH debuting November 20th
Take a bite of Toronto’s best street food at the newest pop-up vendors debuting at CONCEPT. From cheesecake on a stick by Heirloom to French Toast by Fidel Gastro’s, egg yolk fried rice balls by me.n.u, bubble tea from Chatime and some of the city’s most generous lobster rolls from Buster’s Sea Cove, this newest group of CONCEPT pop-ups will be holding court in time for Black Friday shopping through to the end of February.
Skip the Line with Ritual
Yorkdale is launching a partnership with Ritual just in time for Black Friday. Ritual, the on-demand meal service lets app users skip the line at Yorkdale food and beverage spots. This service helps shoppers avoid lineups at Yorkdale restaurants, a special service for shoppers and employees alike any day but especially on busy shopping events such as Black Friday. Just browse Yorkdale vendors on the app, place the order and pick up your meals.
Uber Pick Up Points
Yorkdale and Uber have launched designated pick up bays to make Ubering from Yorkdale easier than ever. The three Yorkdale Pick-Up zones (or areas) are located at Shoppers Drug Mart, Nordstrom and Holt Renfrew entrances and are easily located on the Uber app.
